Mission

To enhance biotechnological research innovations and data interpretation through the development of advanced bioinformatic tools, training and support.
 

Strategic Research Areas

  1. Development of pipelines to automate data analysis workflows.
  2. Develop oil palm sequence and annotation databases and web-based tools.
  3. Integrate public domain information into local databases.
  4. Analyse and mine oil palm genome information for markers, sequences and genes of interest.
  5. Develop a one-stop centre for data storage and analysis, as well as for bioinformatics support and training.
