- Innovation and creation of wide variety of novel bio-based polyols for polyurethane formulations.
- Development of high-performance polymer and composite products for consumer and industrial markets.
- Innovation and creation of oleo-based specialty chemicals i.e. surfactant, estolide derivatives and glycerol derivatives.
- Establishment of scalable and sustainable process for the production of fine chemicals.

Polymer and Composite Group
Objectives
1. To develop versatile and economical method for conversion of palm oil, basic oleochemicals and its derivatives into various classes of novel bio-based polyols.
2. To utilize the developed novel bio-based polyols into wide range of polymer and composite applications.
